Irish Moss (Sagina subulata) – 13cm Pot

Irish Moss, botanically known as Sagina subulata, is a charming low-growing garden plant that creates a soft, moss-like carpet of fresh green foliage. Its neat, spreading habit makes it ideal for adding texture and gentle colour to rockeries, edging, alpine displays and patio containers.

Supplied in a 13cm pot at approximately 20cm high, this versatile plant is an attractive choice for gardeners looking to soften borders, fill gaps between paving or create a natural-looking miniature landscape. Position it outdoors in a bright spot with some protection from intense midday sun, and keep the compost lightly moist while it establishes. With its compact appearance and understated character, Irish Moss is an easy way to bring a calm, woodland-inspired feel to outdoor spaces.
