Bordeaux Waxed Amaryllis (Hippeastrum)

Bring rich seasonal colour into your home with a Bordeaux waxed amaryllis, also known as Hippeastrum. Its striking deep red-burgundy finish creates an elegant display, while the bulb’s waxed coating allows it to be enjoyed without traditional potting compost or a plant pot.

Place this decorative bulb in a bright, warm position away from cold draughts and enjoy watching its flower stem develop. It makes a stylish centrepiece for a dining table, mantelpiece or hallway, and is also a thoughtful gift for plant and flower lovers. As it is waxed, watering is generally not required; simply display it upright and allow it to grow naturally. Each bulb is selected for a strong, impressive presentation and may produce tall stems topped with dramatic amaryllis blooms.
